Imagine that you see a webpage that has a table of data you want to analyse yourself. Wikipedia, UNData or other such sites often present data in tables on web pages. Normally, you'd have to save the page and strip out the HTML code, or copy it somewhere and hope that it works....
But Salstat is easier: you just give Salstat the page's URL and it will download the page and parse the HTML for you. Then, it gives you a preview of each table it found and you can select which one to import. Analysing public data has never been easier. This video tells you how.
